Are you a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) — or an experienced Veterinary Technician with a strong clinical background? Colonial Animal Hospital is seeking a skilled, compassionate technician to join our close-knit, privately owned practice.

We're not a corporate clinic. We're a supportive, fun, hands-on team that truly enjoys what we do — and we're looking for someone who is just as passionate about both surgery and appointments as we are.

What You'll Do

• Assist veterinarians with surgery (spays, neuters, soft tissue procedures, dentals and more)
• Monitor anesthesia and oversee smooth, safe recoveries
• Perform blood draws, catheter placements, and in-house lab work
• Provide strong support during appointments, including patient care, treatments, and client education
• Deliver high-quality nursing care throughout the day
• Help keep our surgical and treatment areas organized and running efficiently

What We're Looking For

• Active LVT license required OR a minimum of 5 years of solid veterinary technician experience
• Strong confidence in anesthesia monitoring and surgical assistance
• Comfort and efficiency working in appointments
• A compassionate, detail-oriented, team-focused mindset
• Someone who thrives in a busy but supportive environment
