Nuself Medspa and Cosmetic Surgery is seeking an organized and personable Front Desk / Patient Coordinator to be the first point of contact for our patients. This role is key to creating a positive and professional experience from check-in to check-out.

Education:

Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Preferably 2+ years of experience in a high-volume medical practice.

DUTIES:

  • Greet and assist patients and other guests in a professional, friendly, hospitable manner.
  • Accurately and efficiently record and update patient information in an electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Cleaning and staging of lobby throughout the day.
  • Process cash and credit co-payments/deductibles payments.
  • Scheduling and coordinating appointments.
  • Complete appointment confirmations.
  • Consolidate/Report all payments made to practice each day and submit to manager for review.
  • Patient interaction via phone, email and face to face
  • Coordinating with various staff to ensure patient requests are handled appropriately and timely.
  • Maintain and track front end office supply inventory.
  • Rooming patients and taking vital signs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Possess excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, balance multiple tasks, set priorities, and solve problems.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft software products such as OneDrive, Word and Excel.
  • Prior experience using EMR strongly preferred.
  • Must have reliable, independent transportation in order to travel to various locations during any given shift.
  • Ability to operate a computer and basic office equipment.
  • Ability to operate a multi-line telephone system.
  • Skill in answering a telephone in a pleasant and helpful manner.
  • Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees and the public.
  • Must be well organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability and willingness to treat all patients with the utmost kindness and consideration in the most trying situations
  • Sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment.
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • It is necessary to view and type on computer screens for prolonged periods of time.

Requirements:

  • Previous front desk or administrative experience in a medspa, clinic, or similar setting- Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Knowledge of scheduling software and basic computer skills

  • Professional appearance and demeanor
