As a Host, you'll coordinate reservations, manage guest flow, and ensure every visitor feels valued and cared for throughout their stay. Duties

• Greet guests with a friendly, energetic attitude and provide a positive first impression
• Manage reservation systems and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Resy
• Coordinate guest seating to optimize flow and minimize wait times while maintaining excellent customer service standards
• Answer phone inquiries professionally, providing information about wait times, reservations, or menu options
• Assist guests with seating preferences and special requests to enhance their experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting areas
• Collaborate with servers, bartenders, and management to ensure smooth guest transitions and exceptional service delivery

Experience

• Previous experience as a Host or in a host/host role within food service or restaurant environments preferred
• Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills and friendly phone etiquette
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Experience in hotel or guest services roles is a plus, demonstrating guest relations expertise
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism
• Knowledge of hospitality standards and guest engagement techniques to foster positive relationships

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 12.0 per week
