Purchasing Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Coordinator to join our supply chain team. The ideal candidate will oversee procurement activities, manage supplier relationships, and ensure the timely acquisition of materials to support manufacturing and operational needs. This role requires strong knowledge of ERP systems, procurement management, and contract negotiation to optimize supply chain efficiency and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement processes using ERP system Innergy to ensure accurate purchase orders and inventory management.
• Source suppliers, evaluate vendor performance, and develop strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize pricing and supply chain reliability.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements while maintaining quality standards.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, logistics, and inventory teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and components.
• Monitor MRP systems to forecast demand, plan procurement schedules, and manage inventory levels effectively.
• Oversee supplier management activities including performance evaluations, contract management, and vendor relationship development.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, supply chain regulations, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline procurement workflows and improve supply chain efficiency.

Experience

• Proven experience in procurement management within manufacturing or supply chain environments.
• Strong familiarity with ERP systems such as Innergy is preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in sourcing, contract negotiation, vendor management, and logistics coordination.
• Knowledge of inventory management, supply chain processes, and procurement best practices.
• Excellent negotiation skills coupled with a solid understanding of pricing strategies and contract management.
• Prior experience with MRP systems and ERP software is highly desirable. Pay: $ $33.90 per hour
