Overview
We are seeking a friendly and Senior Bartender/Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience working in fast-paced environments such as fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, engaging with guests, and ensuring a memorable experience for all patrons. Prior experience with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred, along with a solid understanding of food safety and responsible alcohol service. The position offers an opportunity to work in a lively atmosphere where professionalism and hospitality are paramount.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service
  • Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
  • Monitor guest alcohol consumption to ensure responsible service in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations during shifts
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down bar areas for events such as banquets or catering functions
  • Manage cash register operations, including handling cash, credit card transactions, and balancing registers at shift end
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff or event coordinators to deliver seamless service during busy periods

Skills

  • Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally in various settings such as nightclubs or fine dining establishments
  • Experience serving in food industry environments such as restaurants, catering events, or retail food service
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and inventory management
  • Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments like nightclubs or banquet halls
  • Previous experience with beverage preparation techniques including brewing or mixology is a plus
  • Familiarity with retail math for stock control and sales tracking

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $60.00 per hour
