Licensed Massage Therapist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various massage techniques and a passion for helping clients achieve their health and wellness goals. The ideal candidate will also be able to work independently and have great customer service skills. This role involves assessing patient needs, providing therapeutic massage treatments, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment plans.
• Provide high-quality massage therapy services, including deep tissue massage and other modalities.
• Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to address pain management and promote relaxation.
• Maintain accurate records of client sessions, treatments provided, and any relevant medical history.
• Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and professional treatment environment in accordance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with other health professionals as needed to support patient care.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in patient service with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to massage therapy.
• Knowledge of pain management techniques and occupational health principles.
• A degree in massage therapy from an accredited institution as well as current licensure is required by the state of Wisconsin.
• Ability to perform various types of massage techniques including deep tissue and relaxation methods.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Previous experience in a med spa or wellness center setting is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
