Nurse Practitioner

Job Title: Nurse Practitioner - Gastroenterology (Full-Time Office)

Location: Syracuse, NY

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and flexible Nurse Practitioner to join our Gastroenterology practice in a full-time capacity. The ideal candidate will provide outpatient care in the office 4-5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the outpatient office setting, managing gastroenterological conditions such as IBD, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, GERD, and other digestive disorders.
• Perform diagnostic evaluations, treatment planning, and follow-up care for patients undergoing procedures such as endoscopies and colonoscopies.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families on gastroenterological conditions, treatment options, and preventive care strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with medical standards.

Schedule:

• Office-based work 4-5 days per week providing outpatient care.

Qualifications:

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in New York State.
• Prior experience in gastroenterology or a related specialty is preferred.
• Strong clinical skills, with the ability to manage a variety of gastroenterological conditions independently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with physicians, office staff, and hospital teams.
