Customer Service Representative – Restaurant (Front of House)

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our restaurant team. This role is essential in delivering excellent guest experiences, managing customer interactions, and supporting daily front-of-house operations. The ideal candidate will be personable, well-spoken, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in person, over the phone, and through online ordering platforms
• Take customer orders accurately and answer questions about menu items, specials, and promotions
• Handle phone calls professionally, including order taking, inquiries, and follow-ups
• Process cash and card payments accurately and issue receipts
• Enter orders and customer details correctly into the POS system
• Resolve customer concerns politely and efficiently to ensure satisfaction
• Coordinate with kitchen and management staff to ensure timely and accurate service
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front-of-house area
• Provide friendly, positive, and professional customer interactions at all times

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, restaurant, retail, or hospitality preferred
• Strong verbal communication and customer-service skills in English
• Bilingual abilities (such as Spanish or other languages) are a plus
• Basic computer and POS system skills
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
• Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong attention to detail
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
