Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement industrial automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
  • Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and industrial robots.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex automation system failures to minimize downtime.
  • Optimize existing automated processes for improved efficiency, throughput, and quality.
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to define requirements and integrate new systems.
  • Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including schematics, logic diagrams, and operating procedures.
  • Ensure all automation solutions comply with safety standards, industry regulations, and company policies.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell Automation) and HMI/SCADA system development.
  • Experience with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus).
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, commission, and optimize automated manufacturing systems.
  • Familiarity with industrial robotics programming and integration.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement methodologies.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with MES/ERP integration and data exchange protocols.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) or database management (SQL) for operational data analysis.
  • Familiarity with industrial vision systems for quality control and inspection.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for Operational Technology (OT) environments.
