Our dynamic fulfillment center in Richmond, Virginia, is looking for diligent Picker/Packers to join our dedicated team. In this fast-paced role, you will be instrumental in preparing customer orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include accurately picking items from warehouse shelves using RF scanners and meticulously packing them for safe transit. We prioritize a **Safety**-first culture, and all team members must strictly adhere to **Safety** protocols and wear designated **PPE**. This role involves considerable physical activity, including frequent **Lifting** and walking, so a good level of fitness is required. You will be an essential part of our **Logistics** operation, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order specifications.
- Use RF scanners and other technology to manage inventory and order picking.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipping, ensuring product protection.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and dispatch.
- Prepare packages for shipment, including applying labels and necessary documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse cleanliness.
- Adhere to all **Safety** guidelines and procedures.
- Wear and maintain required **PPE**.
- Perform **Lifting** of items up to 35 lbs.
- Support the **Logistics** team by meeting established performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking and packing or general warehouse work is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Capability for **Lifting** moderate weight items.
- Understanding of warehouse **Logistics** and **Safety** procedures.
- Commitment to using **PPE**.
