This role is fundamental to the smooth functioning of our facility, involving a variety of tasks such as receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping goods. You will play a key role in maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment. We emphasize a strong commitment to Safety, requiring all associates to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow established safety procedures. The position demands physical stamina, including frequent Lifting of materials. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Stock and organize inventory accurately within the warehouse.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate material handling equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse premises.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Report any damages or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
- Perform frequent Lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve team objectives.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics network.
- Follow company policies and procedures diligently.
- Support the receiving and shipping departments as needed.
- Ensure a safe and secure working environment for all personnel.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including frequent Lifting and standing.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
- Experience with material handling equipment is a plus.
- Familiarity with logistics operations.
