Join our bustling warehouse in Miami, Florida as a Material Handler! This dynamic role is essential for managing the flow of goods within our facility, ensuring materials are moved efficiently and safely. You will be responsible for operating various material handling equipment, receiving and storing raw materials and finished goods, and supporting production and shipping departments. We are seeking individuals with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials according to established procedures.
- Stage materials for production, shipping, or other departments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Ensure all materials are handled safely and securely.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize material flow and logistics.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Certification to operate forklifts and other relevant equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 60 pounds.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control.
- Strong understanding of safety practices and procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
