Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from storage areas, production lines, or shipping docks.
- Verify the quantity and quality of incoming and outgoing goods.
- Organize and arrange inventory to optimize space and facilitate easy access.
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing all required PPE.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and discrepancy investigations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and timely workflow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or material handling role is preferred.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 60 pounds regularly.
- Experience operating forklifts or similar machinery is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
- Excellent physical condition and stamina.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Commitment to contributing to a safe and productive workplace.
