We are hiring a Warehouse Associate in Omaha, Nebraska! Join our dedicated team and play an important role in our logistics network. As a Warehouse Associate, your duties will encompass a broad range of warehouse activities, including receiving and inspecting incoming stock, accurately picking and packing orders, efficiently stocking shelves, and maintaining a safe and orderly work environment. This position is key to ensuring the seamless operation of our distribution center and contributing to our commitment to excellent customer service. Safety is paramount; therefore, all employees must rigorously follow safety guidelines and wear the provided PPE. This role requires physical stamina, involving frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and performing various manual tasks. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision and speed.
- Replenish inventory on warehouse shelves and storage locations.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and scanners.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory management activities, such as cycle counting.
- Support overall logistics and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior warehouse or logistics experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and safety standards.
- Commitment to using appropriate PPE and following safety protocols.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing demands.
