Join our growing logistics team in Kansas City, Missouri, as a Warehouse Associate! We are seeking dedicated individuals to support our daily warehouse operations. In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise. Your commitment to accuracy and efficiency is vital to our success in fulfilling customer orders. You will be an integral part of ensuring our warehouse runs smoothly and productively. We prioritize a safe work environment and provide all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves regular physical activity, including significant lifting and moving of goods. Experience in a warehouse setting is highly desirable, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are key. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Accurately store and organize inventory in designated locations.
- Pick and pack orders according to established procedures.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies, including safety regulations and the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counting.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Proven ability to handle frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a significant advantage.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following instructions.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
