We are hiring a motivated Warehouse Worker to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana! This role is essential for the smooth operation of our distribution center, involving a variety of tasks related to the handling and storage of goods. As a Warehouse Worker, you will contribute to receiving, stocking, order picking, and preparing shipments. Your efforts directly impact our logistics efficiency and customer satisfaction. We are committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment, and all team members are expected to follow strict safety protocols, including the appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Understanding and implementing safety measures is crucial. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. - Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Stock shelves and storage areas accurately.
- Pick and prepare orders for shipment based on customer requirements.
- Pack items securely and label them correctly.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, utilizing PPE as required.
- Participate in team activities and contribute to a positive work culture.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical condition, able to stand, walk, and lift throughout the shift.
