As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in our daily logistics operations, ensuring the efficient movement and storage of goods. Your responsibilities will include receiving, unpacking, stocking, and preparing items for shipment. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all company policies and procedures. Your contributions are vital to our overall success in the logistics chain. We are committed to providing a safe working environment and expect all employees to follow strict safety protocols. This includes the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and awareness of potential hazards. Regular training will be provided to ensure you are up-to-date on best practices. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments.
- Unpack, sort, and stock merchandise accurately.
- Pick and prepare orders for shipment according to specifications.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Maintain inventory accuracy through diligent counting and record-keeping.
- Assist with general warehouse upkeep, including cleaning and organization.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the use of PPE.
- Contribute to a positive team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Willingness to learn and adapt.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles is beneficial.
