We are seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join our dynamic warehouse facility in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is integral to our logistics operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts to load and unload trucks, move inventory, and transport goods to and from storage areas. Your precision and adherence to Safety protocols are paramount. We are dedicated to maintaining a secure workplace; all operators must possess valid certifications and strictly follow all company Safety policies, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires excellent control and situational awareness, with the ability to perform tasks involving occasional Lifting and steady hand-eye coordination. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Move inventory to and from designated storage areas.
- Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working order.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and Safety regulations within the warehouse.
- Properly use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with warehouse organization and housekeeping.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics department.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or Safety concerns immediately to management.
Qualifications:
- Valid Forklift Operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and Safety procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks as needed, including occasional Lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to Safety.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and situational awareness.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
