We are hiring Order Pickers for our bustling warehouse in Nashville, Tennessee. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team focused on efficient logistics and timely order fulfillment. As an Order Picker, your primary responsibility will be to accurately gather products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. You will utilize scanning technology to ensure precision and speed. This role is essential to our operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction through accurate and prompt deliveries. We foster a culture of Safety, and all employees are expected to rigorously follow established Safety protocols and utilize designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The role requires active participation in warehouse activities, including frequent movement, bending, and consistent Lifting of items. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners.
- Verify item numbers and quantities against order sheets.
- Pack orders carefully to ensure product integrity during transit.
- Stage picked orders for the shipping department.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness within assigned picking zones.
- Meet or exceed daily picking targets while upholding quality standards.
- Comply with all Safety regulations and guidelines, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Assist in other warehouse duties to support logistics operations as needed.
- Report any stock discrepancies or equipment issues to supervisors.
- Participate in regular inventory checks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or picking experience is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret pick tickets and product labels.
- Familiarity with handheld scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and frequent Lifting.
- Willingness to adhere to all Safety rules and wear required PPE.
