Physical fitness is important, as the role involves consistent lifting of up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods. Responsibilities:
- Accept and unload deliveries, checking for damages and discrepancies.
- Organize and store inventory items in their assigned locations.
- Accurately fulfill orders by picking and packing items according to specifications.
- Prepare shipments for carriers, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
- Use warehouse equipment like pallet jacks and hand trucks responsibly.
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior warehouse experience is beneficial but not required.
- Must have the physical capacity for frequent lifting up to 50 lbs and prolonged standing.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with basic logistics and warehouse procedures.
- Commitment to upholding safety standards and wearing necessary PPE.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with others.
