Our fast-paced warehouse in Virginia Beach, Virginia, is looking for a dedicated Warehouse Worker to contribute to our efficient operations. This role is fundamental to our logistics network, involving a variety of tasks to keep our warehouse running smoothly. You'll be involved in receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders.
- Stock inventory accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders with precision and speed.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as required (certification may be provided).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and work areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Follow all safety regulations and guidelines, including the use of required PPE.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required; training provided.
- Physical ability to perform tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 60 lbs.
- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Understanding of logistics principles is beneficial.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
