Job Summary:
Become a vital part of our distribution center in Durham, North Carolina, as a Distribution Center Associate. We are seeking energetic and dependable individuals to perform a variety of essential tasks that keep our logistics operations running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include receiving, stocking, order fulfillment (picking and packing), and shipping. This role demands attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and an unwavering commitment to Safety. You will work within a team environment, contributing to the efficient and accurate processing of goods. Adherence to all company policies and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are crucial for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive, verify, and stock incoming merchandise accurately.
  • Pick items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
  • Pack items securely and efficiently to ensure safe transit.
  • Stage outgoing shipments for carrier pickup.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers (certification may be required).
  • Follow all Safety procedures and protocols to prevent accidents.
  • Utilize required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock adjustments.
  • Meet established productivity and quality standards.
  • Handle products that may require moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the logistics process.
  • Report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and teamwork.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and meet performance targets.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift for extended periods.
  • Capability to perform moderate Lifting regularly.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations and Safety procedures.
  • Team-oriented and able to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to learn and operate various warehouse equipment.
