Join our vibrant logistics team as a Shipping & Receiving Associate in Houston, Texas! This dynamic role is essential for the efficient movement of goods in and out of our facility. You will be responsible for accurately receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and preparing outgoing shipments for delivery. Key duties include unloading trucks, staging products, operating pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified), and maintaining organized dock areas. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will play a crucial role in inventory management, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing items are accounted for and processed correctly. Physical stamina is a must, as this role involves significant manual labor, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Adherence to all Safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE , is mandatory. We are seeking a reliable, team-oriented individual with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience in a warehouse or shipping/receiving environment is highly preferred. You will be interacting with drivers, supervisors, and other warehouse personnel, so strong communication skills are beneficial. This role is fundamental to our Logistics operations and offers an excellent opportunity to grow within our company. Accuracy in documentation and data entry is vital. You will be trained on our warehouse management system and shipping software. Responsibilities also include maintaining a clean and safe working environment for all team members.
