Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards.
- Conduct inventory cycle counts and assist with inventory management.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, especially regarding safety and handling of materials.
- Wear all required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, and vests, as appropriate.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding task completion and any issues.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Willingness to operate various types of warehouse equipment.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety guidelines and using PPE effectively.
