Job Summary:
Our Cincinnati, Ohio facility is looking for a diligent Shipping Clerk to manage the outbound flow of our products. The Shipping Clerk is essential for ensuring that all outgoing shipments are accurate, timely, and properly documented. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and a thorough understanding of **logistics** processes. You will work closely with warehouse staff and carriers to coordinate deliveries and maintain **safety** standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare shipping labels and documentation for all outgoing freight.
  • Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
  • Verify shipping information for accuracy, ensuring all orders are correct.
  • Track shipments and provide updates to internal teams and customers.
  • Load and unload trucks as needed, ensuring proper **handling** of goods.
  • Maintain shipping records and reconcile shipping discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with all **safety** regulations and company policies.
  • Assist with **inventory** counts and management as needed.
  • Operate shipping software and WMS to process orders and track **logistics**.
  • Wear appropriate **PPE** at all times in designated areas.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Shipping Clerk or in a similar **logistics** role.
  • Proficiency in shipping software and **inventory** management systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with **safety** procedures and **PPE** requirements in a warehouse setting.
  • Must be capable of **Lifting** up to 30 pounds occasionally.
