Join our vibrant team in Jacksonville, Florida, as a Picker/Packer! We are looking for dedicated individuals to efficiently handle order fulfillment in our busy warehouse. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from inventory, packing them securely, and preparing them for shipment. This role is integral to our logistics operations, ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate order processing. You will work in a team-oriented environment, contributing to the overall efficiency of our distribution center. Safety is paramount, and adherence to all safety guidelines, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is expected. Your commitment to maintaining a safe workspace and executing tasks with precision is vital. This role involves considerable physical activity, including walking, standing, and lifting. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Inspect picked items for quality and quantity accuracy.
- Pack items securely into appropriate shipping containers.
- Label packages for shipment.
- Stage packed orders for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and wear designated PPE.
- Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse setting is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Good organizational skills.
- Team player attitude.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse operations.
