Are you an organized and efficient individual looking for an exciting opportunity in San Antonio, Texas? We are hiring an Order Picker to support our warehouse operations. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. This role is fundamental to our logistics and fulfillment processes, ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. You will work closely with a team to maintain inventory integrity and contribute to the overall smooth functioning of the distribution center. Safety is our top priority; therefore, adherence to all safety guidelines and the correct usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. We foster a culture of continuous improvement and encourage proactive participation in maintaining a secure and productive work environment. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent lifting and movement. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Verify product information and quantities before preparing for shipment.
- Stage orders in designated shipping areas.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to safety and following instructions.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics is a plus.
