We are seeking a diligent Picker/Packer to join our growing warehouse team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked and carefully prepared for shipment. You will be responsible for locating and retrieving products from warehouse shelves and then packing them securely to prevent damage during transit. The ideal candidate possesses a strong attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to safety. We prioritize a safe working atmosphere, and all team members are required to follow safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse stock based on order tickets.
- Inspect products for any defects or damage before packing.
- Pack items securely using appropriate materials to ensure safe delivery.
- Verify order accuracy and complete necessary documentation.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily picking and packing goals.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is preferred.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
