Job Overview:
As an Electrician at Sky Vision Lumber, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within our facilities and project sites. You'll ensure all electrical work meets safety standards, troubleshoot technical issues efficiently, and support smooth operations across the company. Responsibilities:
Test electrical and electronic devices and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
Maintain, repair, install, and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, and reactors.
May install, maintain, and calibrate industrial instrumentation and associated devices.
Interpret and analyze drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code standards to determine the layout for industrial electrical equipment setups.
Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep detailed maintenance records.
Maintain, repair, test, and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries, and hydraulic and pneumatic control systems.
Install, inspect, replace, or repair electrical wiring, outlets, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, and lighting fixtures.
Diagnose, maintain, and repair industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems along with related equipment.
Requirements:
College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience:
1 year to less than 2 years
Starting date:
As soon as possible
