What you will do…

You will be part of a vibrant team that provides a safe, supportive and motivating environment for adults to achieve their health and wellness goals. You will help to develop and deliver quality exercise and education programs for healthy members and members who may be inactive and/or dealing with chronic health conditions. You will support members one on one or in a small group as a Personal Trainer, prescribing exercise based on individual needs.

As an adult program staff you will be given hours to work on the fitness floor. Some of the responsibilities include cleaning equipment, booking new members orientations, building relationships with members, giving free demos. Working the floor to build your clientele. Flexible hours – days , evenings and weekends required.

What you will bring…

  • Personal Training Certification
  • Group Fitness Certifications an asset
  • First Aid/CPR-C
  • A proven track record of interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to establish rapport and excellent communication with employees, volunteers and clients. An acceptable police record check will also be required upon hire.
