Field Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Field Maintenance Supervisor to oversee Kidco field mechanics and welders. This role is responsible for organizing, delegating, and ensuring timely maintenance and repair of equipment in the field. The ideal candidate is flexible, able to work a variety of shifts to meet service demands and committed to long-term growth within our team-oriented company.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead weekly safety meetings. Ensure adherence to all safe job procedures and practices in accordance with Kidco Construction policies.
• Prioritize and schedule repairs and maintenance of heavy equipment, delegating tasks to appropriate field staff.
• Collaborate with field operations supervisors to coordinate equipment repairs on-site or in the shop.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and minimize rework.
• Close work orders promptly once all information is entered.
• Collect and review timecards daily.
• Prepare requisitions for materials and supplies.
• Resolve work-related issues and recommend measures to improve productivity.
• Prepare timelines and cost estimates for repairs when necessary.
• Adapt to changing job duties as required.

Required Skills and Experience

• Heavy Duty Mechanic's Ticket with Red Seal
• Extensive maintenance experience and knowledge of various types of equipment required
• Class 5 Driver's License
• Class 3 Driver's License with air would be an asset
• Computer skills are an asset

Typical Schedule:

• Monday - Saturday, with Sundays off.
