Summary
EnviroCollective Network (ECN) is seeking a proactive, community-minded Repair Café Volunteer to plan and deliver year-round Repair Café events that promote repair, reduce waste, and strengthen community connections.
Description
What you'll be doing
*Responsibilities *
- Plan, schedule, and run Repair Café events across Regina.
- Coordinate venues, volunteers, equipment, signage, and event flow.
- Recruit, train, and support volunteer fixers and intake staff.
- Manage event booking systems (Setmore/Google), waivers, and safety protocols.
- Build relationships with hosts, partners, and sponsors.
- Promote events through social media, posters, and community outreach.
- Track data (repairs, attendance, volunteer hours) and prepare summary reports.
*Qualifications *
- Experience in event coordination or volunteer management.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Comfortable using digital tools (Google Workspace, scheduling systems).
- Committed to sustainability and community engagement.
- Available for weekend events; light lifting required.
Work Environment
Hybrid: remote planning + on-site events. Local travel within Regina; occasional rural events possible. 10 to 15 hours per month
