Dental Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring smooth daily operations, and maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting with a focus on both general dentistry and specialized treatments such as orthodontics and pediatrics.

Duties

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments using CAD technology to ensure a sterile environment.
• Assist dentists during various procedures, including orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry.
• Take and develop dental radiographs, utilizing skills in CAD for imaging accuracy.
• Manage patient records using dental software such as Dentrix
• Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients, explaining procedures using medical terminology that patients can understand.
• Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and perform front desk duties as a dental receptionist when needed.
• Educate patients on oral health care practices and answer questions related to treatments or procedures.
• Assist with laboratory tasks, including the fabrication of dental appliances or orthodontic devices.

Pay: $20.93-$31.11 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
