Machine Operator

Summary

"Cabot Manufacturing ULC" is currently looking for a Machine Operator. You will be integral to our manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and adherence to quality standards. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will utilize your mechanical knowledge and core skills in machining. Obligations:

• Operate production machinery according to SOP
• Monitor changes in the production process and adjust the settings
• Autonomous maintenance of the equipment in the responsible area
• Adhere to safety policies and guidelines
• 5s and cleanliness standards in the work area

Requirements:

· Candidates must have at least 2 years of machine operation experience working in chemical production, with a solid understanding of production processes, safety standards, and equipment operation.

· Experience in basic electrical and mechanical maintenance over 1 year is required

· Ability to use tools and lift weight up 50lbs

· Ability to work under a strict time-line

· The candidate must demonstrate excellent attention to detail, strong analytical thinking skills, and be mechanically inclined, with the ability to understand and work with machinery or technical processes.

· Candidates must be legally eligible to work full-time in Canada for any employer

English proficiency - above CLB 5

· Can stand, sit, walk, reach, stoop, kneel for long periods of time

· Capable of working in a team environment

· Reliable and punctual

· Forklift experience will be considered an asset.

Education:

Grade 12 diploma (High School) is mandatory.

Post-secondary education (College or University degree) is considered an asset.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $18.50 per hour
