Machine Operator

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Excavator, Bobcat and Dozer Operator to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to complete excavation, grading, backfilling, and site preparation tasks safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Operate excavators and bobcats to perform excavation, trenching, grading, and material handling.
• Load and unload materials, including soil, gravel, and debris.
• Assist with site preparation, backfilling, and compaction.
• Perform routine equipment inspections, maintenance checks, and report any mechanical issues.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Work closely with site supervisors and crew members to complete projects on time.

Qualifications:

• Minimum (3 years) experience operating excavators and bobcats (construction/landscaping/utility work preferred).
• Valid equipment operator license and/or certifications (if required).
• Strong knowledge of safe operation procedures and construction practices.
• Ability to read and follow site plans and instructions.
• Physically fit, reliable, and able to work in outdoor environments.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
