The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $105,700 - $142,900. The salary offered will be based on the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills and qualifications.
Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) currently has an exciting opportunity for a Consultant, Functional Analyst - Digital Technologies. This full-time role reports to the Manager, Enterprise Business Solutions, Consumer & Dealer and serves as the functional lead for TCI's Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform across enterprise-scale websites.
The successful candidate will act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders, Information Services (IS), and vendor partners, ensuring the AEM platform is stable, scalable, and aligned with TCI's digital strategy and enterprise architecture. This role owns functional outcomes for the AEM platform while partnering closely with architects, developers, and managed service teams for delivery.

What You'll Be Doing
AEM Platform Leadership
- Serve as the functional platform lead for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) across cross-functional initiatives.
- Define and maintain the AEM product and application roadmap in alignment with business priorities, architectural directions, and enterprise standards.
- Provide subject-matter expertise on AEM and Adobe capabilities to support strategic decision-making.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and product enhancements to maximize out-of-the-box capabilities and limit customization.
Platform Delivery & Operations
- Lead the ongoing optimization of TCI's Digital Asset Management and Content Management (AEM) platform to ensure stability, scalability, security and performance.
- Own functional oversight of AEM operations, including incident management, demand intake, platform performance, and data quality.
- Identify and prioritize platform enhancements to improve efficiency and business value.
- Coordinate platform upgrades, patches, and maintenance releases in partnership with IS teams and vendors, following established governance processes.
- Maintain application lifecycle documentation, inventory, and functional knowledge base.
- Ensure business users are supported through defined operational processes and cycles.
- Engage in daily scrums, status meetings, and technical discussions to share updates and provide expertise that supports and guides technical decision-making and resolution.
Business Analysis & Agile Delivery
- Lead end-to-end business requirements management for AEM initiatives, from intake through delivery.
- Partner with business stakeholders, IS teams, and managed service providers (AMS) to define scope, business outcomes, and delivery approach.
- Elicit and document requirements for complex initiatives, including integrations, migrations, and localization.
- Translate business needs into clear, well-structured Agile user stories, ensuring completeness and acceptance criteria.
- Review and validate stories and functional designs to support efficient delivery.
Solution Design, Testing & Quality
- Produce and maintain functional and solution design artifacts, including workflows, conceptual models, and high-level architecture diagrams.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects and delivery teams to ensure solutions are scalable, right sized, and sustainable.
- Lead functional input into testing strategy, test scenarios, and support system integration and user acceptance testing.
- Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture, SDLC, and governance standards.
- Provide functional consulting support for the enhancement and sustainment of enterprise applications.
Stakeholder & Vendor Engagement
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and prioritize short- and long-term platform enhancements.
- Work closely with IS teams to ensure alignment across solution design, delivery, and operations.
- Engage vendor partners, including Adobe and Application Managed Services (AMS) teams, to support platform delivery and integration.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, driving clarity, alignment, and informed decision-making.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages teamwork, continuous improvement and shared ownership.
What You'll Bring
- 6-10 years of experience in Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar roles supporting Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) for enterprise-scale websites.
- Adobe Experience Manager certification is an asset.
- Strong experience in gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements.
- Solid understanding of AEM DevOps processes, including deployment and build troubleshooting.
- Ability to wireframe AEM components and features.
- Hands-on experience developing or supporting AEM components and themes using HTML, CSS, and XML.
- University degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation abilities.
- Results-oriented mindset with the ability to work under pressure and tight timelines.
- Proven experience working with outsourced vendors and cross-functional teams.
- Strong process improvement orientation and ability to lead collaborative discussions.
- Hands-on experience with Agile delivery is an asset.
