Azure Technical Lead

Role: Azure Technical Lead / Azure Cloud Architect

Essential skills:

• .net core (with API development experience)
• SQL
• API
• Azure services (Azure Functions, COSMOS DB, Key Vault, Application insights, Redis, EventHub and Service Bus)
• Overall 12 to 14 years of development experience with at least 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Azure skills mentioned above
• Minimum of 5+ years in cloud architecture, with significant focus on Azure.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale, complex cloud solutions
• Deep expertise in Azure services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), including Azure VMs, Azure SQL, AKS, Azure AD, Azure Networking, and Key Vault.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (VPN, ExpressRoute, load balancing).
• Good Communication skills

Good to know skills:

• Banking project experience
• Functional knowledge in Payments
• Experience with IT operations, networking, virtualization, security, and disaster recovery
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies
• Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, ARM templates) and scripting languages (PowerShell, C#).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

"Must Have
Minimum of 12+ years of software development experience
10+ years of experience in Design and implementing cloud-based architecture using Azure services
10+ years of strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services, including:
o Function App
o Event Hub
o Blob
o Azure Vault
Minimum of 8+ years of experience: Java, .NET, Python
Develop and deploy scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based applications using Azure services
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
Experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Monitor, and Azure Security Center
Knowledge of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
Certification in Microsoft Azure, such as Azure Developer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Skills and Knowledge
Minimum of 7+ years in C# (.NET Core), Visual Studio, Apache Web Services, XML, and Restful-API/Kafka & event-driven integration capabilities.
5+ years' experience in the C#/.NET Stack including Core/6+ in AZURE cloud.
Experience with various Design Patterns (MVC, MVVM, etc.), SOA and other Architectural concepts.
Must have development experiences in Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Event Hub, Azure Redis, Cosmos DB, Blob Storage, KeyVault), SQL, Azure Repos, CI/CD pipelines,
This engineer will need to be very proficient in managing large sets of data, including excellent proficiency with ANSI-SQL querying structured and unstructured data sources (Snowflake, Oracle, SQL, No-SQL).
Experience with ELK, and other logging capabilities.
