Bartender

Location: Carlton Tavern, 657 king st E Hamilton ON Job Type: Part-Time / Full-Time Pay: $17.20/hour + tips

Carlton Tavern is a local favorite known for its friendly atmosphere, great food, and cold drinks. We're looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and service-oriented bartenders to join our team. If you're someone who can pour a perfect pint, connect with customers, and keep things running smoothly on a busy night, we want to hear from you

Responsibilities:
• Greet guests and take drink and food orders with a positive attitude
• Mix, garnish, and serve beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
• Maintain a clean and organized bar and follow all health & safety standards
• Monitor customer alcohol consumption and uphold Smart Serve guidelines
• Handle payments accurately using a POS system
• Work collaboratively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
• Restock bar supplies and assist with opening/closing duties as needed

Qualifications:
• Smart Serve Certified (required)
• Food Handler Certification (required)
• Previous bartending or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Ability to stay calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
