Located in Vaughan, Ont. we operate in a 150,000 sq. ft Office, Distribution and Showroom facility with offsite satellite warehouses to service our retailers' efficiently.

Currently, we are recruiting an experienced Graphic Designer/Illustrator with a proven track record in Creative Graphic Designs, specifically with Consumer Packaging and Production background.

Job Summary: This role will appeal to a results-oriented, Creative Graphic Designer specifically in Product Packaging Design. Proficient both with digital and traditional artwork, print and packaging design; and who enjoys significant challenge in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Full responsibility for creating custom designs for product packaging
• Creating graphic designs, Illustrations, production and printing materials to ensure the branding consistency is achieved
• Creating/updating catalogues, flyers and other marketing materials
• Supporting the sales department to create and manage designs from concept through to final deliverables
• Working closely with the graphic team to develop branding materials, new design concepts, Illustrations, graphics and layouts
• Designing, illustrating, size, colour, interpret/understand color palettes
• Creating and developing artwork (digital, illustrative, typography)
• Ensure graphics are properly executed from creative concept to production in accordance with company quality standards
• Present graphics at various stages of the design process for review
• Researching the market for new graphic concepts, sharing ideas with the team
• Photography and editing of sample products
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environment with multiple projects

Job Requirements:

• Creative Design Diploma with 3+ years recent Graphic Designer experience with Consumer Packaging Design and Illustrations
• Portfolio Required
• Excellent Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Strong understanding of the CPG industry, branding and product development/design
• Strong conceptual design skills
• Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign).
• Photography and editing skills
• Listen and understand the vision of the brand and product direction
• Effectively communicate ideas and key information to the team
• Self-confident and resilient to constructive criticism on feedback regarding design work
• Time management and organizational skills to manage priorities and workflow
• Demonstrated strong leadership skills
• Work efficiently within tight deadlines for graphic creation
• Must have great attention to detail eye for typography and kerning
• Flexible strong written and verbal communication skills (English)
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines
• Experienced in Creative Illustration
