Key Responsibilities
Marketing Support
- Assist with annual marketing, communications, and promotions plans
- Support market research and strategy execution
- Review and update advertising, communication, and promotional materials
- Contribute to budget planning and maintain accurate budget tracking
Content & Project Coordination
- Create and coordinate marketing tools (brochures, POS materials, promo items) in
English & French - Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with suppliers
- Manage promotional inventory (uniforms, brochures, reusable bags, etc.)
Digital & Web
- Maintain store hours and details on Google platforms
- Support social media posting and scheduling when needed
- Collaborate with the digital team on online campaigns (SEM, social ads, etc.)
Events, PR & Partnerships
- Help plan and manage the marketing events calendar
- Support corporate events, trade shows, exhibitions, and student visits
- Prepare press releases and internal communications
- Manage influencer partnerships with the Marketing Director
- Identify and coordinate Québec PR opportunities (especially French-language media)
Administrative Support
- Process marketing invoices and ensure proper GL entries
- Support customer satisfaction surveys
- Contribute to monthly and annual brand reviews
- Act as backup for daily needs when the Marketing Director is unavailable
- Perform other related tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration
- 5–7 years
of experience in a similar role - Fully
bilingual
(French & English, spoken and written) - Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience in retail or specification-based industries (asset)
- Understanding of digital and interactive marketing (asset)
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong attention to detail; able to work under pressure
- Proactive, customer-focused, and team-oriented
- Strong writing and editing abilities in both English & French
