Ramp Agent: Part Time

Onward Aviation is looking for a part-time Ramp Agent: Night Shift (Weekends)

Who we are:

Onward Aviation is a full service FBO (Fixed Based Operator) based in Hamilton, Ontario at John C. Munro International Airport. We operate 24/7, 365 days a year. As a full service FBO, we provide our clients with an exclusive, white glove experience. We provide a number of services including aircraft fuelling, marshalling, handling, towing, lavatory and aircraft cleaning, maintenance services, and car/shuttle services for passengers and crew.

We are looking for a professional, hardworking, punctual, and polite individual who prioritizes the safety of themselves and others.

Job Summary:

The ramp agent is responsible for all aircrafts arriving, departing, and staying at Onward Aviation, completing all the necessary and requested services in a professional and timely manner i.e. aircraft lavatory services, GPU hook ups, fuelling's, etc. You will be trained to be able to use and operate our two forklifts so you can onload and offload cargo to and from aircrafts. You will answer phone calls and emails regarding charter flights, cargo, and other aircraft requests. As a full service FBO, we provide our clients with aircraft fueling, marshalling, handling, towing, lavatory and aircraft cleaning, maintenance services, and car/shuttle services for passengers and crew. Additionally, you will be required to ensure the facility is kept clean. This entails using the floor cleaner, sanitizing, and cleaning the flight lounge, mopping/ sweeping floors, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning washrooms.

Qualifications/ Requirements:

• Highschool diploma or GED

• Ontario Driver's License (G2 or G class)

• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

• Able to lift 50lbs.

• Can speak, understand, and write in English.

• RAIC (Restricted Airport Identity Card) – acquired during your probationary period. Once hired, you will be subjected to a 5-year background check done through Transport Canada.

• AVOP (Airside Vehicle Operator Permit) – acquired during your probationary period.
