Warehouse Associate - MAG Solar Inc.

Location: Based out of Mission, BC (vehicle required; location not accessible by public transit)

Position Type: Hourly / 20-40 hours per week

Compensation: $20.00/hour

We are currently seeking a hardworking and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our Mission, BC operations team.

Role Overview:

The Warehouse Associate will support the day-to-day operations of our warehouse by organizing materials, preparing orders, managing inventory, and assisting with deliveries. This is a hands-on role that requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Warehouse Operations:

Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments of solar panels, racking systems, and electrical components. Accurately pick, pack, and prepare materials for job site deliveries.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Assist in regular inventory counts and inventory management.

Material Handling:

Load and unload materials from trucks safely and efficiently.

Safely operate dollies, pallet jacks, and other basic material handling equipment (training

provided).

Lift and move items up to 75 lbs comfortably and safely.

Support Functions:

Assist with light maintenance tasks as required.

Deliver supplies or equipment to local project sites when necessary.

Collaborate with the Project Manager and Operations Manager to fulfill material and equipment needs for upcoming projects.

Qualifications & Skills: Forklift Certification (asset /not required)

Experience:

Previous warehouse, construction, or material handling experience an asset but not required (training provided). Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical environment.

Technical Skills:

Basic proficiency with mobile devices and inventory management apps is an asset.

Soft Skills:

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Other Requirements:

Valid Class 5 Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle (location not transit accessible).

Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs safely and repeatedly throughout the day.

Must provide your own CSA-certified safety footwear.

Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
