Quality Control Technician

K-FAB Inc is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Berwick PA

$3.00 / hour shift differential for 2nd shift

Offer monthly bonus for attendance and overtime

Summary of Job responsibilities

A Quality Control Technician will perform any or all the following tasks

Responsibilities include:

• Perform CMM Manual, visual and weld inspections.
• Ensure that all Quality procedures are being adhered to adequately, focusing on quality inspection and conforming material.
• Provide support to operators and production leads regarding quality concerns.
• Assist with reworking or sorting of materials.
• Contribute to general quality team tasks such as maintaining quality items, 6s and posting quality documentation.
• Manipulate small objects, such as measuring devices on a routine basis.
• Perform equipment calibrations using calipers, gauges, and micrometers
• Accept or reject finished products based on whether they meet quality standards.

Requirements:

• Must be able to read blueprints and drawings
• Excellent attendance, attitude, and communication skills are critical
• Manual dexterity.
• Collaboration within the quality team and communicated findings to cross-functional teams.
• Use a computer, keyboard, and mouse on a regular basis.
• Excel experience preferred
• Ability to follow inspection procedure
• Knowledge of gauges and test equipment
• Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work overtime when needed
• Hexagon CMM knowledge is preferred

Physical environment/working conditions:

The position is in the factory and could involve sitting, standing, walking, and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day.

Must be able to work as part of a team as well as independently. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.

Pay: $ $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
