EIFS Estimator

The EIFS Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate, competitive cost estimates and proposals for Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems projects. This role requires strong knowledge of EIFS materials, installation methods, construction drawings, and industry standards. The estimator works closely with project managers, clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure bids are complete, timely, and aligned with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Estimating & Takeoffs
• Review architectural drawings, structural plans, specifications, and addendums to determine project scope.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for EIFS, stucco, continuous insulation, sealants, and related components.
• Calculate labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, bid proposals, and alternate pricing options.
• Bid Management
• Track bid opportunities, deadlines, and project documents.
• Request and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits when required.
• Submit bids on time and ensure proposals meet client/architectural requirements.
• Project Support
• Collaborate with project managers during handoff to ensure smooth transition after award.
• Provide clarification or value-engineering recommendations when needed.
• Update estimates based on changes in scope, materials, or labor.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain organized records of takeoffs, quotes, revisions, and final bid packages.
• Track historical cost data to improve accuracy of future estimates.
• Monitor market pricing trends for EIFS materials and labor.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating EIFS, stucco, façade systems, or related construction trades.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings.
• Proficiency with estimating software (PlanSwift, Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, etc.).
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of major EIFS manufacturers (Dryvit, Sto, Parex, etc.) and relevant installation standards.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Background in façade construction, building envelope systems, or exterior wall assemblies.
• Understanding of building codes, moisture management, and EIFS best practices.
• Experience with cost databases or construction project management software.
• Ability to perform field measurements and site assessments.

Work Environment

• Office-based with occasional site visits.
• Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment requiring coordination with internal teams and external partners.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
