Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Associate Director, Operations and Technology oversees multiple functional teams within the BD&C department and helps drive technology integration to support the Firm's strategic goals.

This position oversees the Business Intelligence, Marketing Technology, Proposals, Content, and Recognitions/Awards teams - with a focus on supervising and supporting Senior Managers and teams across those functions. The Associate Director leverages technical expertise to help shape and implement a data strategy that supports the Firm's strategic goals and evolves with technological advancements, including on key projects involving CRM/ERM, experience management, website development, and communications platforms.

The Associate Director works closely with Firm leadership and departments, evaluates and enhances BD technology and implements AI-driven efficiencies to strengthen client relationships and increase revenue.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing or business related field. Secondary degree (Masters or higher) in data analytics, AI or a related field a plus.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years experience in BD&C in a law Firm, management consulting, or other professional services Firm with a focus on technology.
  • Demonstrated leadership in technology strategy and innovation, preferably within a global legal or professional services environment.

Jones Day offers competitive salaries and benefits to all employees. Compensation is determined upon the market in which the position is located, the responsibilities of the position, the experience and skills of the applicant, and other job-related factors. The starting salary range for this Cleveland position is $225,000 to $275,000.
