Job Summary
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Early Learner Teachers to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development and experience working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and develop essential skills through play and structured activities in a private Christian School environment.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Foster a positive learning environment by encouraging curiosity, creativity, and exploration among children.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively with a restorative and growth focus.
• Provide individualized attention to each child to support their unique learning needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom space that is conducive to learning.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for all students.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements

• Six months experience working in a DSS licensed or registered program.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
• Strong caregiving skills, including experience in infant care, toddler care, and preschool aged children is a plus.
• Ability to create engaging educational activities that align with developmental milestones.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• A nurturing demeanor with a genuine passion for educating young children.
