The Project Engineer will provide engineering, surveying, and metrology decision making skills for customer projects in the construction, metals, and petro-chemical industries. This includes working in the office with other engineers, surveyors, and subcontractors in order to provide a complete engineering project consistent with customer requirements.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with project engineers, project managers, crew personnel, administrative staff, and other team members to plan detailed aspects of various engineering projects.

Provide engineering reports and data for both internal use and client needs.

Utilize an array of advanced software solutions including, but not limited to, Autodesk products, laser scanning software, metrology software, and Microsoft Office to produce reports and analysis.

Varying levels of travel may be required.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's Engineering Degree/related associates degree or 4+ years of experience in construction or industrial fields. Prefer a licensed PE or EIT. Proficient in AutoCAD/Civil 3D and Microsoft Office products. Experience in 3D modeling software preferred, but not required. Knowledge in the use of data gathered from laser trackers/scanners and robotic total stations preferred. Ability to work within a budget. Have strong verbal and non-verbal teamwork and customer relations skills. Responsible, dependable, and ethical.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $74, $80,000.00 per year
