What You'll Do

As a
Veterinary Technician – Inpatient Care Nurse
, you'll support hospitalized patients throughout their stay—from post-operative monitoring to ongoing treatments. You will collaborate closely with our specialty and ER teams to provide consistent, high-level care. In this role, you will:

  • Monitor and care
    for
    non-critical and recovering patients
  • Administer medications and treatments
    (
    IV, IM, SQ, PO
    )
  • Assist with inpatient diagnostics
    including
    bloodwork, imaging
    , and
    catheter care
  • Prepare and manage patient recovery from anesthesia
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately
    with
    clients, clinicians, and support teams
  • Maintain accurate records
    ,
    follow treatment plans
    , and
    assist with patient discharge
  • Demonstrate
    sound medical knowledge
    and
    attention to detail
    in a
    fast-paced setting
  • Apply
    Fear Free
    and
    low-stress handling techniques
    to keep patients
    safe and calm

Anticipated Schedule
This is a
full-time
position with the following available schedule:

  • Sunday-Wednesday:
    10:00 PM - 8:00 AM
    (Overnight)
  • Some holidays are
    required

Compensation

  • Starting at
    $21.00/hour
    , with shift differential
    included for both shifts

Requirements

What We're Looking For

We're seeking
Veterinary Technicians
who take pride in precision, remain calm under pressure, and find fulfillment in delivering outstanding patient care. You likely have:

  • 1–2 years of experience
    as a Veterinary Technician/Nurse
  • CVT/LVT/RVT licensure preferred
    or educational equivalent
  • Comfort working independently and collaboratively in a high-volume setting
  • Strong knowledge of veterinary pharmacology, terminology, and disease processes
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills
  • A calm, focused demeanor and a commitment to learning and growth
