Summary:

The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for leading and managing complex engineering projects from conception through completion. This role ensures that all technical aspects of crane system design, development, and implementation meet company standards and customer requirements. The Senior Project Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Lead engineering projects related to crane systems, including design, analysis, and implementation.

· Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.

· Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle.

· Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and customer specifications.

· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project team members.

· Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.

· Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and documentation.

· Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process optimization.

· Participate in design reviews and ensure manufacturability of engineering solutions.

· Travel to customer sites and manufacturing facilities as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position may supervise project teams and provide leadership to junior engineers and technical staff.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Civil Engineering; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in engineering project management, preferably in the crane or heavy equipment industry.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret technical documents, write reports, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Mathematical Skills:

Proficiency in engineering mathematics, including statics, dynamics, and structural analysis.

Reasoning Ability:

Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects.

Computer Skills:

Proficiency in CAD software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Other Qualifications:

P.E. license preferred. Experience with crane design standards and industry codes is a plus. Ability to travel as required.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to sit, stand, and use hands frequently. Occasionally required to lift up to 25 pounds. May be exposed to manufacturing environments with noise, heat, and machinery.

Work Environment:

Work is performed in both office and manufacturing settings. May involve visits to customer sites and field locations.

Pay: $95, $105,000.00 per year
