This role involves coordinating manufacturing activities of custom cable and wire harness assembly, and turnkey manufacturing solutions. Key Responsibilities (Fremont, CA - Onsite Only)
- Production Oversight: Lead daily manufacturing operations to consistently meet production output, quality standards, and efficiency targets, requiring strong coordination with team members and other departments.
- Process and Equipment Management: Monitor and inspect all machinery and equipment for optimal performance. Identify maintenance needs, recommend improvements to boost productivity, and actively seek and implement process enhancements (methods, equipment, work conditions) to improve plant efficiency and product quality.
- Quality Control: Inspect both work in progress and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards. Interpret job specifications, troubleshoot manufacturing issues using production and operational data, and adjust workflows to resolve problems, reduce costs, and prevent delays.
- Team Leadership and Development: Train, supervise, and evaluate production staff, ensuring strict adherence to safety standards and company procedures during equipment operation. Handle shift transition communications, prepare formal performance evaluations, and address any disciplinary or performance concerns.
- Miscellaneous: Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; junior college preferred.
- Experience: Five to eight years of successful supervisory experience in cable assembly and electronic manufacturing.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Experienced in Soldering.
- Experienced in assembling and repairing cable/harness assemblies using both hand and machine tools, including cutting, stripping, crimping, and assembling raw materials into sub-assemblies.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.
- Able to use digital multi-meters, calipers, and various test equipment.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Language: Bilingual in English and Mandarin is required.

- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and guide diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work effectively under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.
Physical Requirements
The following physical requirements are necessary for employees to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:
- Lifting/Carrying/Manipulating: Ability to lift, twist, and carry up to 25 pounds, and to manipulate (push and pull) up to 50 pounds of product with assistance. Items lifted may range from a few ounces up to 50 pounds with assistance.
- Movement: Requires walking throughout the warehouse to complete production orders and standing when performing certain tasks.
- Positioning: Sitting may be required for certain tasks. Kneeling or squatting may be necessary when performing specific tasks and/or putting away products in floor-level locations.

Benefits
- The base salary for this role is estimated to be in the range of $69,000 to $85,000.
- The starting salary will be determined through an evaluation of key factors, including the candidate's relevant skills, professional experience, and the geographic location of the role. This approach ensures a fair and competitive compensation package aligned with both qualifications and local market conditions.
